LGV/HGV Training Course – Cat C (Rigid Lorry):
The Cat. C is the most common type of licence for new drivers and with London having thousands and thousands of deliveries made every day in a Rigid lorry, this course will definitely open a rewarding path for you in the HGV/LGV industry.
LGV/HGV Training Course – Cat C+E (Articulated):
This LGV/HGV licence is also known as a Class 1 or a Cat. C+E.
You have to complete a LGV/HGV Category C+E training course and test in order to be able to drive any articulated or draw bar lorries where the trailer exceeds 750 kg gross vehicle weight.
LGV Training Courses – Category C1:
ou have to complete a LGV Category C1 (cat C1) training course and test in order to be able to drive vans or lorries between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes.
It is a straightforward training course to obtain the licence, comprising of a very basic medical exam, a provisional LGV licence application, a theory test, a practical training course and practical test. Rest assured, we look after the whole process from start to finish.
Driver CPC Module 4 Practical Demonstration:
In the CPC module 4 practical demonstration, you’ll need to show that you can keep your vehicle safe and secure. You’ll be asked about:
- Safe use of your vehicle and checks to make before driving
- Loading a vehicle safely
- Checking for risks from such as crime and people trafficking
- Assessing emergencies
You require a score of at least 80 out of 100 points, with at least 15 out of 20 for each topic area.
